People Management Practices that Underpin Lean Management Outcomes

While evidence exists for an association between people management practices (PMP), firm characteristics and lean manufacturing (LMP), there is limited research focusing on different sized firms. What not understood (1) what PMP bundles are chosen by firms which adopt LMP, (2) play a role in explaining these choices. The empirical based archival data sourced from the world dataset comprising of 299 Australian New Zealand Using path analysis disaggregated set commonly adopted PMP, we test six namely, instilling talent mindset, promoting, rewarding, retaining attracting high performance as well removing poor performers; identify have strategy (LMS) that LMP.
